Good luck and thanks to Huddlestone as he signs for Hull.

Posted on August 15, 2013 by Scraggs

Eight years after joining Tottenham and playing in 209 games for the club Tom Huddlestone has agreed to join Hull for a fee of approx. £5.25m and signed a three year contract. If he can retain his fitness then Hull will have signed a player on the cheap, Tommy Hud is a player of immense talent and most Tottenham supporters will see this as a disappointing turn of events while also realising that it is also a moment of progression. Tottenham supporters have never doubted the ability that Huddlestone possesses and have always willed him to turn it on and secure his position in the team, they recognised his tremendous qualities but at the same time are only too well aware of his fitness issues.

When announcing his transfer to Hull he was enthusiastic about signing for Hull and confirmed his admiration for everything Steve Bruce had to say and his impressions of Hull, he was also very complimentary of Tottenham and obviously enjoyed his time there, he said that deciding to leave was extremely difficult particularly at such an exciting period in Tottenham’s recent history.

The vast majority of Tottenham supporters will be sad to see Tommy Hud leave and will wish him genuine good luck for the future, for eight years he did his best for the club and finally left with dignity in order to seek more regular opportunities, still only 26yrs old and with four England caps to his name it would be great to think that he has a tremendous season and earns himself on a seat on the plane to Brazil.

Huddlestone was one of the worst spurs players for ten years avb also so it thats why he has been moved on. Good luck to hull and their fans wait till their frustrations creep in when huddlestone cant do anything

He was a spurs player for 8 years and deserves far more respect than you are giving him, they can’t all be wrong and four england caps along the way. but for injury issues he was capable of becoming a star.
