Premiership predictions round 27.

Posted on February 22, 2014 by Tony

No Eddie.S this week, he has been relieved of his duties due to poor performances of late, not true of course he is simply unavailable this week due to unforeseen circumstances but he might well be back for tomorrow. Just for this occasion I shall be trying my luck with this prediction malarkey to see how I fare, though I will keep it short and sweet I cannot totally vouch for a totally unbiased opinion but will do my best.

  • Chelsea v Everton 12:45
  • Chelsea should win but by now we all Know that Everton are a difficult nut to crack so I will be going for a Draw 1-1.
  • Arsenal v Sunderland 15:00
  • Arsenal off the back of a runaround from Bayern in difficult circumstances it is admitted will not relish facing a team on the rise. Gus Poyet is making Sunderland more difficult to beat by the week and I foresee another disappointment for Arsenal and a Draw 2-2
  • Cardiff v Hull 15:00
  • Cardiff simply have to start picking up points but then so do Hull as they are drawn into the relegation battle. It is difficult to see past a draw but I shall give it to Cardiff just,Home win 2-1.
  • Man City v Stoke 15:00
  • a midweek disappointment for City but with an extra day to recover they should have too much for a Stoke side that is much improved. Home win 3-0
  • West Brom v Fulham 15:00
  • The new Spanish coach of WBA versus new German coach replacing two Dutch options already this season at Fulham. To be honest both teams have performed reasonably well of late, the recent changes  at Fulham looked to have improved the team, who to be fair had two really difficult games to negotiate and did manage a commendable draw at Old Trafford. Would like to see Fulham get out of trouble but really can’t see it . Home win 2-1.
  • West Ham v Southampton 15:00
  • The Hammers seem to have turned the corner and put together a few good results ensuring a respectable position in the table after being in terrible trouble just 4/5 games ago. Southampton are still blowing hot and cold from one game to the next so it is difficult to know what to expect. Home win 2-0
  • Crystal Palace v Man Utd
  • Revitalized Palace versus a disappointing Manchester United. Having forked out £37m for Mata just a month ago and then agreed to pay Wayne Rooney a salary of about £70m over the next four and a half seasons you might think this is a simple three points for the away team but somehow I really don’t think it will be. Pullis has galvanised Palace and bought and loaned well in the transfer window , this game spells more misery for David Moyes. Home win 2-1.

god you are so bias, seriously would love arsenal chelsea manunited to drop point especially the first two but gosh your prediction looks bias. i think chelsea would win by 2-1 arsenal 2or3-1 and united would win 1-3. jesus tony cant belive you predict a draw for arsenal and a loss for united. well lets hope you are right but i doubt it.

  2. Boobaspur says:

@classic., at least wait for the result if you are going to criticise Tony. You may well be right particularly after seeing just 5 minutes of Sunderland.

It’s not like Arsenal are rolling everyone over of late.

No Ozil today – he must be gone off for that heart-transplant I spoke of recently.

  3. Boobaspur says:

Hang your head in shame Tony XD

  4. Jide says:

Interesting selection against Norwich by Messrs Sherwood, et all. Rose and Naughton on the lest is such a good idea. Attacking selection. Looks like he is going for it.
