Pressure eases on AVB as Allardyce and Moyes enter the Sack Race.Vote for who you think will go next.

As Tottenham began to claw their way way back into the race for a top four spot so David Moyes Manchester United fell further down the pecking order as they lost their fourth league game of the season and the second at fortress Old Trafford. As the reigning champions of England, after romping away with the title  in Fergies last season there, they are now in some serious trouble and are already twelve points behind the league leaders.

Manchester United seem to have lost the fear factor and as each game passes it continues to dwindle more and more. Moyes has confirmed that he has no idea when RVP will be fit to return from injury and although Wayne Rooney is in his best vein of form for some time they are terribly short on quality now that so many have aged together. Rooneyand RVP are the only members of the current United squad who would command a place in any of the other major contenders for the title and they are in major need of surgery.

At the other end of the table Sam Allardyce is having a torrid time and results are deteriorating, the odd outstanding result does not disguise the fact that West Ham are struggling and have a desperate need for strikers. After investing over £15m on Andy Carroll, £6m on Stewart Downing and almost £11m on Matt Jarvis last season, West Ham are still hoping for a return on their investments, none have yet proved successful, in fact Carroll is still to make an appearance since signing and Jarvis has been involved in only six games.

Just three points clear of the relegation zone, struggling for goals and in desperate need of points, perhaps Allardyce was critical of AVB on Monday in an effort to keep the media wolves from his door. Will the West Ham hierarchy trust “Big Sam ” with any more funds in January having seen so many investments fail so far, maybe he will have to make do with loans or might he be looking for other employment?

I doubt that the sack race is exclusively limited to the three mentioned above but who do you think might be first out of a job?

Vote now.

This may sound premature but if city draw or lose a few more then m not sure Pellegrini will survive this season

  2. Eric says:
