Round of 12 Premier League predictions.

Posted on November 24, 2013 by Eddie S

Not the greatest set of predictions yesterday but a few correct results and but for a late Liverpool leveller it would have looked a whole lot better. Palace certainly seem to have turned a corner and great credit must go to them while the Southampton keeper really should not be helping the likes of Arsenal to three points with a ridiculous passage of play.

  • Man City v Tottenham 13:30– The first game up in an intriguing afternoon featuring both Manchester clubs, Tottenham travel to City under a little bit of pressure following their unlikely defeat at home to Newcastle. What should have given them the opportunity to extend or retain their lead over one of the title favourites might now see them drop into eight or perhaps worse if they suffer a drubbing. This is not likely to be a defining moment in the season but some sort of result will ensure that the wolves do not continue to ridiculously gather around AVB’s door. Of the top clubs today is a game between the  best attack versus the worst and the worst defence versus the best, something will surely give and I firmly believe that Tottenham are about to find their shooting boots. This could be a great game and I fancy that it might end all square with a couple of goals apiece. 2-2
  • Cardiff v Man Utd 16:00– United seem to have somehow turned the corner but are grinding out results rather than being particularly fluent, today I fancy that they will be too strong for Cardiff who have seemed to have picked their game up a little more of late. Wayne Rooney is playing as well if not better than he has done in a while and he will be the major difference. I fancy that the game could be all but over by half-time and that United will run out winners. 1-4
  • Mon 25 Nov 2013 – Premier League
    • West Brom v Aston Villa 20:00 Neither team is convincing on a regular basis but now that Benteke is back i do fancy that Villa can cause plenty of problems to teams on their travels. West Brom seem to be able to find some fantastic performances as their win at Old Trafford proved and unlucky draw at Chelsea. I cannot pick a winner for this and am going for a score draw.1-1
