Is Jamie Redknapp fit to give opinion on football matters? 12

Just like last year and the year before that the media are on the back of Tottenham, again it’s the same old ringleaders, you know the ones, those with a grudge against Tottenham. Ex-Arsenal and Liverpool players that have infiltrated every football channel and show on TV and the football pages of almost all newspapers. On a daily basis some so called expert or other jumps on the bandwagon in an effort to destabilise the supporters of Tottenham,

Harry Redknapp opinions are worthless. 0

Following the events of Tuesday and the inevitable sacking of Tim Sherwood it was only going to be a matter of time before the media led by ‘Arry and Jamie took the opportunity to lay all the blame at the door of the club and AVB in order to defend their friend, associate and previous business partner. Jamie had already branded Tottenham a selling club forgetting perhaps that he had almost implored Modric and Bale to leave and had stated time and again that players cannot be held against their will. Yesterday the leader of the clan Harry Redknapp spouted his words of wisdom :-

I don’t get the anti Walker brigade. 8

Jamie Redknapp and Twitter had very little good to say about Kyle Walker’s performance last night and yet once again he kept his opposite numbers in check and still found time to maraude forward and cause the German defence some problems. I cannot recall a single occasion this season when he has been given the runaround and rarely has he been caught out defensively or been at fault for a goal despite being the most used outfield player at Tottenham this season.

Are Manchester United a selling club Jamie? 0

Yesterday Jamie Redknapp wrote an article for Sky in which he called Tottenham a selling club, he tried to salvage the tone of the piece by claiming no disrespect but unfortunately too late. He obviously uses this argument to encourage the departure of Gareth Bale citing that he will enjoy great success with Real Madrid and win lots of trophies, the main reason for his desire to leave Tottenham, that in itself is not guaranteed if Barcelona have anything to do with it, and events of the past five seasons bear this out.

Ian Rush the one voice of reason in the Bale madness. 38

Every man and his dog is talking up the transfer of Gareth Bale to Madrid as the only sensible move for the player and the right thing to do for his career, many seem to think that he will improve as a player at a faster rate than he has at Tottenham, quite how that is possible with less playing time and having to fit into the team plans of Ronaldo makes little sense.

Jamie Redknapp Tottenham opinions smack of sour grapes. 0

And so another ex-Liverpool player sticks his two pennyworth in and suggest that Gareth Bale will and should leave this summer, his destination of choice is Barcelona, had his dad Harry still been employed by Tottenham I am sure that he would not be making these assertions, in fact he was the one voice of encouragement when Modric looked to be on his way to Chelsea, suggesting he should remain at Tottenham and help take them to the next level.
