I expect the Spanish to defeat the French tonight and so set the wheels in motion for Tottenham to announce their new manager soon.
AVB has reportedly stated in an interview with the Portuguese press that discussions for him to become the Tottenham manager are in fact all lies!
There has been no word whatsoever from Spurs other than the interview with Les Ferdinand when he implied that he would have thought Daniel Levy had a replacement ready for the sacking of Redknapp.He also stated that he had heard of possible changes some weeks before. .......Read more...

Judging from the majority of reports the next Tottenham manager looks to be between Villas Boas and Blanc.This would appear to make sense as Daniel Levy is aware that neither would involve a compensation payment and both have impressive credentials.
It is true that Villas Boas was less than impressive at Chelsea but it would appear that the goalposts were moved after several games,no longer was he charged with phasing out the old guard and making the team more youthfull and pacy.Fortunately the Tottenham squad is already blessed with pace ,youth and plenty of experienced Internationals ,many are coveted by other teams. .......Read more...
