A little reminder to all you who want your Tottenham back. 5

Posted on November 29, 2013 by Guest Writer

As we approach December and with less than a third of the season gone Tottenham are apparently a club in trouble and the man in the firing line and responsible for their demise is Andre Villas-Boas, the media are already putting forward names to replace him while the odds are on him being the next to be sacked. The longer Daniel Levy delays the decision to sack this failure the less the chances Tottenham have of escaping relegation and they might still hope to have a run in the last cup remaining the FA Cup which stars for them in January.

Now Italian big guns in for Van de Vaart 0

As well as the two German clubs apparently keen to sign VDV it seems that most of the big Italian clubs are ready to throw their hat into the ring for him.
It appears that he will be the 3rd quality player to leave after Corluka and Kranjcar, none of them blessed with any pace.which is probably one of the reasons they slipped down the pecking order.
None of these players will be considered failures in their time at White Hart Lane and they all helped to move the club in the right direction, but the first 2 mentioned were upgraded successfully and if the same happens with VDV then we will have some player, who will it be if it happens?

Does Van de Vaart for Huntelaar make sense? 0

One or two stories are starting to appear suggesting that a deal might be on the cards involving Van de Vaart going to Schalke plus a cash adjustment in return for Huntelaar.

This cannot be totally discounted as Tottenham certainly need strikers and Van de Vaart might just want to return to Germany where his wife works. The talk though has been his return to Hamburg where he had possibly his most successful spell.

Van de Vaart possibly heading to Germany 0

And so more reports of Rafa heading back to Germany this time to his previous club Hamburg. This one shouldn’t really surprise anyone if it happens, his wife works in Germany,Tottenham would still be able to recoup their initial outlay with maybe a small profit on top.

Van de Vaart has provided some great moments for Spurs fans and he is obviously a great talent,he is able to supply moments of magic only a few could replicate,he does though have issues, certainly lacking in raw pace and a question mark over stamina(this though might be a little unfair as he gives 100% effort all over the park).

Bale to Barca, Modric to Utd and VDV to Schalke 0

These are the usual Tottenham transfer rumours consistently churned out by certain newspapers and journalists and they all go on to say that they; haven’t much money to purchase; they are overpriced; they have no intention of paying Spurs asking price because with the extortionate wages they are promising it is to high a price.

The Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy has said again this close season that the contracts are long, Spurs are building, and key players are not for sale at any price but still we get the same stories!

Tottenhams new Dutch keeper 0

Posted on June 10, 2012 by Tony

We are now being linked with Michel Vorm of Swansea having been linked to Tim Krul only yesterday. Both are in the Dutch squad for the Euros but as 2nd and 3rd choice it seems.

It might possibly be the Van De Vaart connection assisting in the pursuit of one these keepers as the long term replacement for Brad Friedel.

Both are outstanding keepers and either would be a great addition to the team as this an area which must be resolved and soon,Friedel cannot go on forever, can he?
