Week 21 Premier League predictions.

Posted on January 15, 2017 by Eddie S

A very mixed bag with my predictions yesterday with just a fifty percent success rate and no correct scores. today throws up a couple of battles featuring the city of Liverpool versus Manchester and both games will have a significant bearing at the top of the table. It won’t be easy to with my obvious Tottenham allegiance to be impartial with my predictions, we see on a regular basis ex-pros, now better known as “expert” pundits, fail on a regular basis to be realistic rather than biased, but anyway let’s have a go. The first game up is:-

Everton v Manchester City- Ronald Koeman has spent big already in this window and is likely to do so again before the end of the month, unfortunately he has little time to work with his new additions so far but his previous association with Schneiderlin should help if he decides to include him in his starting lineup today. As for Manchester City they seem to take a couple of steps forward only to then fall apart at the back and much will depend upon whether they are able to stop Lukaku. I am expecting a close run game with City just pipping the home team 2-1.

Manchester United v Liverpool- This game features an improving United team currently on a great run of results and with home advantage against a Liverpool team that has suddenly found wins difficult to come by. This game will also no doubt be a close run thing but Liverpool without Mane and with a defence likely to give up a goal at any moment will I believe struggle to get anything from this game and my guess is that they will go down 2-0.

I have to admit that from a completely biased point of view if both predictions are incorrect I would actually be delighted.
